Our Stain & Glaze is water based, translucent, matte finish, self sealing and easy to use. To use as a glaze – wipe or brush on over detailed areas, appliques and carvings. Before it dries take a slightly damp cloth and wipe away from the raised areas, leaving the glaze in the detailed areas. To use as a stain – using a lint free cloth or wide brush, smoothly apply thin layers of stain to your prepared raw wood, using long smooth strokes with the grain of wood. Wipe away excess with a slightly damp cloth. Our Stain & Glaze are translucent so layers can be built up to create a more opaque finish if desired. Available in Midnight, Leather, Storm, Driftwood & Whisper. 200ml How to use Ensure your painted piece is dry or your raw wood is clean and dry. Stir our Pureco Stain & Glaze well Can be applied with a brush or lint free cloth Applying as a Stain or Glaze use thin light coats, wiping off excess with a slightly damp lint free cloth, before it dries. Apply extra coats to build up the colour, wiping back as you go. When using as a Glaze if it looks too dark try dry brushing over lightly with your paint colour
